Went to brunch at this new spot near home on west Islip. Got there on a Sunday around 1100 & had to wait about 45mins. It was well worth the wait as the food was delicious, the drinks were great & they even had seasonal ones for the holidays. Our waitress Kristen was great & kept us covered with the hover. Much appreciated. I'll definitely be back with a bigger crew.

Such a great brunch spot! The food is always spot on and delicious. They have something for everyone! Service has always been friendly, helpful and pretty quick. Our favorites have been the hungry feast (basically a breakfast sampler), hash and eggs, grilled cheese and soup (special) and also the scramble!! Highly suggest!

Brownstones is such an incredible breakfast place with great food and great coffee. It is a comfy cozy and lived in vibe for a restaurant which is perfect for a nice Sunday brunch. The staff is also very quick at this location and usually friendly as well! Love coming here when i can!

My mom and I come here for lunch dates often! The staff is so nice and accommodating, the food is always delicious and consistent, and while sometimes it gets a bit chilly in there, there are no serious complaints from us whatsoever about the place! Brownstones is a must if you're a Long Islander!

Brownstones is my favorite breakfast spot on the island. I always get their french toast bites dipped in nutella. The bites itself are so fluffy and sweet and the fresh fruit sets it over the edge. You must get it with the nutella on the side! I shared a cookies and creme pagoccino (not pictured) which tastes like an oreo shake. Their food is super filling, I can never finish my meal. There are many options on the menu too. Our waitress was super friendly and kept checking on us.

Brownstones is definitely a very popular breakfast spot! Definitely recommend getting there early on a weekend because the wait can be over an hour, depending on how big your party is. They don't really have a waiting area, so people tend to wait outdoors or in their cars. There isn't much parking in their lot, so a lot of people end up parking a block or two away in the residential streets. The staff has always been very kind and the service is very fast. Last time I was there my whole table got their food in under 10 minutes from ordering! They have great breakfast/brunch options and a good amount of options for everyone, including both sweet and savory. My favorite part is always their coffee! I don't come here often because of the wait, but when I do it doesn't disappoint!

Came here after we packed up from a weekend of camping. Just what I needed, a nice warm cozy breakfast and a cappuccino. Service was great and attentive. Space is warm, and cheery for a Monday. I got the breakfast bowl and requested a substitute for the poached eggs. They provided a super fluffy scramble that went just as well with the hollandaise. The breakfast potatoes really made my day.
